Happy St. Patrick's Day from Stamping Reflections

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Larry and I are going out to dinner this evening to celebrate but we wanted to make sure Chopper and Pal got in on the fun, too!

Chopper says he may be English but he is Irish at heart!

Pal doesn't care about being Irish...he just likes the beer!!!

I'm finishing up my swaps for the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Orlando next week and will give you a peek as soon as they are done!

Happy Stamping,
Jane

Bulldog Punch Art

Hi Stampers!

Today's post is a picture of the valentine that I made for Chopper to give to Cody.  (I actually stamped his little paw with my Classic Stamp Pad and had him "sign" the inside of the card!)  I made the little dog with Stampin Up! punches.  Email me if you would like the instructions and I will be happy to send them to you!

Happy Stamping!

Our Little Dude

This is Chopper a/k/a/ Meathead.  Isn't he the cutest little thing?  He is actually our son's bulldog puppy but we get to raise him until he is out of college!  (Our son, not the dog!  Ha-Ha)    For the most part, he has been a blast to have around but he gave us quite a scare yesterday when he started choking on some phlegm in his throat.  (Bulldogs are notorious for breathing problems but this is the first problem we have had other than loud snoring.) My husband actually had to perform the Heimlich maneuver on him when he stopped breathing and fell on his side.  I did some research online and found out that this sort of thing isn't all that uncommon with this breed.  Several sites said that squirting pure lemon juice in his mouth will help dissolve the mucus because it is so acidic and that will prevent another episode like we had, which is good because I don't think I would survive a repeat performance!!!  It was very, very scary.  Needless to say, we now have a big bottle of lemon juice in our refrigerator!
Chopper likes to sleep on his back with his tongue out!

I hope to have some card samples posted this week so please stop back.

Happy Stamping!
